Self-Pay Discount Policy

The Self-Pay Discount Policy is provided to patients by Lake Butler Hospital, a critical access hospital. It serves patients who need medical services but do not qualify for the Charity Discount Policy. Additionally, the patient is not eligible for any other programs. The patient is responsible for payment of their care with an accelerated payment discount.  This discount is provided to minimize the hospital’s billing and collection costs and to assist you with the financial means of receiving the needed medical services. At the time of medical services, patients will be asked to make payment in full or establish monthly payment arrangements on any outstanding balances unsatisfied by some type of third-party liability.
